In Insidious: The Red Door, Josh Lambert attempts to finally bring peace to his life. But when the family returns to familiar spaces, signs emerge that are not simply memories. Something in the past is calling back a power that should have vanished long ago. With every new clue, it becomes clear that the old portal is active once more. Josh senses how the world is changing: sounds, shadows and uncanny encounters accumulate, as if an invisible trail is drawing him in relentlessly. What initially appears to be a relapse into old fears turns out to be a concrete assault on the family.
